***Keep in mind that with "A" or "Alligator" Rivet Squeezers (this rule does not apply to "C" style squeezers) that you lose power the longer the reach on your jaws.  For this reason, we always recommend using the shortest reach jaws possible so that you maintain maximum power. For example, this squeezer with 2-1/4 reach jaws develops 7,000 lbs of compressive force - the same squeezer with shorter 1-1/2" reach jaws installed develops 9,000 lbs of compressive force and this same squeezer with 3" reach jaws develops only 5200 lbs of force.
