TERMS & CONDITIONS
Minimum Order - In order to keep our overall prices as low as possible, our minimum order amount for orders shipped within the USA is $35. (Due to the extra handling and customs paperwork required for foreign orders, the minimum order amount for Canadian orders is $50 and anywhere else in the world the minimum order amount is $100.) Any USA order not meeting the minimum will be assessed a $5 small order charge. Foreign orders not meeting the minimum will not be accepted.
Payment - We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards as payment methods on our web site. We also accept Purchase Orders from companies who have already completed our credit application and been approved for a Net 30 account. If your company wishes to apply for credit with our company, please contact us for a credit application. We no longer accept C.O.D. orders.
Shipping Policy - We offer FREE Ground Shipping within the entire USA (including Alaska, Hawaii, & APO/FPO adresses!) for most pre-paid orders over $95. (Less than 1% of our products are not eligible for free shipping - mainly large sheet metal brakes and shears and such ineligible items are clearly marked.) Distributor orders purchased for resale are not eligible for free shipping. All orders that are not eligible for free shipping will be charged a minimum charge of $12.75. We receive substantial discounts from our carriers and we pass these savings on to our customers. Unlike some of our competitors, we do not seek to make a profit on shipping costs, so we DO NOT add any "handling charges" or "packing fees" to our orders.
Domestic orders are shipped FOB Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
International orders are shipped EX WORKS Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Almost all of our orders are shipped the very same day they are received. Normal ground shipping transit time to you depends on your location in relation to our centrally located warehouse in Oklahoma City. Most locations in the USA will receive their shipment within 5 business days and most locations in Canada will receive their shipment within 10 business days. Of course the closer you are to Oklahoma City, the quicker you will receive your shipment, for example, most customers in Texas will receive their order within one or two days and most customers in Georgia will receive their order within two to three days.
Expedited Shipping - We can ship your order to you via UPS or FedEx "Next Day Air", "Second Day Air", or "Three Day Air" for an additional charge. We can add the expedited shipping charges to your order, or we can bill the charges collect against your account with the carrier. Expedited shipping charges are based entirely on the weight of the order and the distance it travels, so if you require expedited shipping and you need to know the cost of expedited shipping ahead of time, it is best that you call or e-mail us with a list of the tools you intend to order and the delivery address - we will get back with you promptly with an exact cost.
Military / Government Orders - We gladly accept orders from our many military and government customers and are quite familiar with your special requirements. We DO NOT charge any US Military customer taxes of any kind. We accept US Government IMPAC / Purchasing Cards as payment. We will provide a completed 889 form upon request - simply email us when requesting your quote and let us know that you need an 889 form if applicable.

Foreign Orders - Orders from outside the USA are accepted and appreciated. Our international department is quite familiar with the necessary steps to get your tools to you quickly and safely at the lowest cost. We ship tools to all corners of the globe each and every day. For foreign orders, payment in full must be received prior to shipment. Payment may be made by credit card, international money order, or bank wire transfer. A Pro-Forma Invoice will be provided upon request to facilitate pre-payment. All duties, taxes, and customs or broker fees if applicable are the responsibility of the purchaser. All prices and all transactions with Brown Tool are conducted in US Dollars. Please keep in mind that our minimum order amount for orders shipped outside of the USA or Canada is $100 USD.
Our online system is unable to calculate shipping charges to destinations outside of the USA. If you have any specific instructions or a shipper account number you wish us to use, please enter all relevant information in the "shipping instructions / order notes" box that will be available at the end of the checkout process. All additional costs for shipments outside of the USA (including Canada) will be added to your order. By using our online ordering system, you agree that you are responsible for any delayed freight, duties, or customs fees that are charged back to Brown Aviation Tool and you authorize us to debit your account for any such fees should they occur.
Foreign orders must be paid in advance, prior to shipment. You may pay by credit card (no extra fee) or by bank wire transfer (we will add a $25 "Incoming Wire Transfer Fee" to your invoice). Upon request, we will provide a proforma invoice and payment instructions to facilitate pre-payment.

Safety & Risk of Use - All items that we sell are sold with the understanding that the purchaser shall determine the suitability of the product for his or her intended use and ASSUME ALL LIABILITY AND RISK in connection therewith. Common sense and various local, state, and federal laws require the constant use of approved safety equipment when working with any tool. Approved protective equipment is ALWAYS required when working with any cutting, rotary, or percussive tool such as the tools found on this web site.
Product Descriptions - We are committed to accurate and honest descriptions of our products. Pictures used on this web site are for illustrative purposes only and slight differences not affecting the performance or function of the tool are possible.
Returns - Any tool thought to be defective may be returned freight prepaid to Brown Aviation Tool Supply Co. and will be evaluated for repair, replacement, or credit provided is has not been altered, abused, or misused in any manner. Special order items and items not normally kept in stock are not returnable under any circumstance. Any item returned due to an error or mistake of the customer is subject to a re-stocking fee of 15% and is subject to our acceptance - the item MUST be in new sellable condition and include all packaging, accessories, and manuals if applicable - we will also recover any "free" shipping costs if the tool was originally shipped to you under our free shipping program. In some cases, as a courtesy and at our discretion, we will waive the re-stocking fee if you are placing an offsetting order. We are reasonable people and we want you to be happy with every single purchase you make from Brown Tool!

Retail Store - In conjunction with our world-wide mail order operation, we operate a retail sales counter at our Oklahoma City warehouse. In addition to the over 3,000 new items shown in our catalog, we also have a large surplus/used tool department in our warehouse. If you are ever in the area, we invite you to stop by and visit. Our public walk-in hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, central time. PLEASE NOTE: Our warehouse is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, and we welcome walk-in customers. If you are in the Oklahoma City area, come visit us! We are conveniently located near the junction of I-35 & I-40 (we are about 1-1/2 miles east of I-35 on S.E. 15th Street) Look for the yellow metal building located at 2536 SE 15th Street directly across the street from the R&L Carriers Trucking terminal.
